Leader and front man of the most widely known and traveled band in America, Johnny Holm is the most entertaining entertainer performing today. The show is dedicated to the fans, and they do most of the entertaining. Mostly impromptu, the show moves with the speed of lightning and changes direction as soon as "the pied piper" notices a lag. "Never a dull moment" was never a more true description.
Surrounding himself with the finest musicians in the Midwest, the band rocks, picks, and thunders along for 3-4 hours, almost non-stop from the first song to the last laugh.
Millions of people have seen Johnny over the years, and millions of people have been part of his fantourage.
The band plays in most of the United States but most dates are in the 5 state upper Midwest area.
Ask anyone with a twinkle in their eye or a knowing smile about Johnny. They'll try and tell you all about the mayhem that masquerades as a rock and roll band.
The title of Shane Martin’s latest album “Keepin’ The Night Alive” sums up how he keeps his music alive and loves what he does: “Livin’ every moment, hangin’ on for life” and play his powerhouse brand of country rock. A Top 5 Finalist in the Texaco Country Showdown where he competed for “Best New Act in Country Music” at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium (hosted by LeAnn Rimes), the Minnesota based singer/songwriter is now up to a breakneck pace of over 175 regional shows per year.
Fronting his full ensemble, Martin has shared the stage with numerous national acts and performed at some of the top country music festivals with his infectious, high energy freewheeling style.
Currently one of the top live draws throughout the Midwest, Shane Martin’s unique country rock vibe is perfectly described by his longtime producer, Emmy Award winning engineer/producer Kenny Royster: “Shane is a great singer/songwriter on the teetering edge of country, pop and rock where it’s just dangerous enough to be fun!”

DAVINA SOWERS AND THE VAGABONDS have created a stir on the national music scene with their high-energy live shows, level A musicianship, sharp-dressed professionalism, and Sowers’ commanding stage presence. With influences ranging from Fats Domino and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Aretha Franklin and Tom Waits, the band is converting audiences one show at a time, from Vancouver to Miami and across Europe. In 2011 Davina released her first full length, all original album Black Cloud . It was named one of the 10 best releases of the year by the Minneapolis Star & Tribune and awarded 4 ½ stars from Downbeat Magazine. Their next release in 2014, Sunshine, hit number 13 in the Billboard Blues Chart and led them to landing a performance on the hit BBC2 show, Later with Jools Holland.
DATV’s shows are filled with New Orleans charm, Memphis soul swagger, dark theatrical moments that evoke Kurt Weill, and tender gospel passages. Davina’s voice and stage presence defy category in a different way. Davina has been compared to Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday and Betty Boop, but comparisons don’t suffice: Sowers is a true original.
Bringing you 100 years of American music and Davina’s originals, which lend themselves to the American Songbook, the band brings edgy nostalgia to older generations and fresh new music to younger ears. This rollicking quintet is held together by Sowers’ keyboard playing, with acoustic bass, drums, and a spicy trumpet and trombone horn section. The group’s focused, clean sound and emphasis on acoustic instruments is novel to both blues and jazz worlds and sets the show closer to New Orleans than to Chicago. This has set the Vagabonds apart at festivals in Thunder Bay, Ontario; Sighisoara, Romania; Sierre, Switzerland; Kemi, Finland; the 2012 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and 2013 Monterey Jazz Festival (in 2014 was asked back to play their main stage in 2014, Vache de Blues in France, and North Sea Jazz Festival. Catch this one-of-a-kind live show while they are in town!

The group’s second single “Fly” hit radio soon afterwards, and can still be frequently heard (as well as “Whoop It Up”) in between innings at Minnesota Twins’ home games at Target Field in Minneapolis. Hitchville’s third single, “I’ll Be Right There”, penned by two-time Grammy winner Ben Glover, also received rave reviews once it hit the air, and remains a crowd favorite at their live shows. In their time together, Hitchville has graced the main stages of some of the region’s largest festivals, including Moondance Jammin’ Country, Country Fest, Country Jam, Ramble Jam, and 4 years straight at the biggest country music and camping festival in the nation, WE Fest. They have been blessed to open those stages for some of the biggest superstars in country…from Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts, to Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, and Luke Bryan, to Big & Rich, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, and Blake Shelton. The band has even recently returned from their second consecutive headlining concert in the form of a huge beach party for Miller Lite and the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.
Over the past few years, fans have come to know to expect the unexpected at a Hitchville show. There’s really only one place where the beer is always cold, the people are always friendly, the music is always world class, and the energy is always palpable…they’d like to welcome everybody home… to Hitchville.
